ZAMBIAN BOARD MEMBERS

Amos Simfukwe
President

Amos was born and bred in Nkhotakota, and raised in the Northern and Central part of Malawi. He is the oldest of four children in his family. He and his wife Mercy have been blessed with two children – a girl (Angathe) and a boy (Kuchi). In his early years of schooling, Amos moved to different primary and secondary schools. He first enrolled to study Finance and Accountancy, which he only studied for two semesters before the Lord called him into mission work. He then studied education with University of Foundation for Cross-cultural Education, where he obtained a Certificate in Discipleship and Missions, Diploma in Education and Bachelor’s Degree in Education. After 11 years serving the Lord with FCE, Amos joined Ipalo Christian School (ICS) in December 2018 as School Principal and grade seven teacher. In 2019, he was elected as a Board Chairperson of Blessed to Bless, Zambia. He also attends the Australian Committee meetings. Amos says that as a Christian School, ICS has role to play, and that is to shine the light, execute love, care and kindness. He enjoys being part of such dedicated pioneers of hope! On the rare occasion that he has any spare time, he likes watching and playing soccer, playing chess/draughts and cooking (also art, to refresh and think creatively). His prayer is to see everyone who passes through ICS come to know Jesus. Thus, the Christ-centred education offered at ICS is the tool being used to educate and nurture mankind.
